Effective date: Feb 25, 2026
Last update: Feb 25, 2026

This Notice supplements the Sheetgo Privacy Policy and applies when users connect Sheetgo to third-party platforms, including but not limited to Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, or similar services.

This Notice describes:

  • the permissions requested,
  • how such permissions are used,
  • how API-sourced data is handled,
  • and the applicable safeguards.

This Notice does not replace the Privacy Policy but forms part of the overall privacy framework.

1. Purpose of Third-Party Integrations

Sheetgo enables users to automate workflows between cloud platforms and files stored in their chosen environments.

To provide this functionality, Sheetgo may request specific account permissions via OAuth authorization flows.

Permissions are requested strictly to enable the features selected by the user.

Sheetgo does not request access unrelated to the functionality being activated.

2. Google account permissions

When users connect Google accounts, Sheetgo may request permissions, including:

Google Drive

  • View and manage files in Google Drive
  • Create files where selected by the user
  • Access files opened or created through Sheetgo

These permissions are used exclusively to:

  • locate selected files,
  • create new files when requested,
  • transfer data between user-designated files,
  • maintain workflow connections.

Sheetgo does not delete files unless explicitly instructed by the user.

Google Sheets

Permissions to view, edit, and create spreadsheets are used exclusively to:

  • transfer data between spreadsheets,
  • update connections,
  • create new spreadsheets when requested,
  • generate temporary technical files necessary to perform workflow operations.

Sheetgo does not access spreadsheet content beyond what is necessary to execute configured workflows.

Google Docs

Permissions may allow Sheetgo to:

  • generate documents from structured spreadsheet data,
  • merge data into documents,
  • create files on behalf of the user where requested.

Gmail

Permission to send email is used exclusively to:

  • send workflow-triggered emails configured by the user,
  • attach generated files where requested.

Sheetgo does not access Gmail inbox contents, drafts, labels, or unrelated messages.

Emails are only sent when explicitly configured by the user.

BigQuery

When users authorize BigQuery access, Sheetgo may:

  • query user-selected tables,
  • retrieve query results,
  • store results within user-designated spreadsheets.

Sheetgo does not access other BigQuery data outside user-defined queries.

Google Apps Script

Certain permissions allow Sheetgo to:

  • run automated updates,
  • display sidebars inside Google Sheets,
  • maintain workflow connections.

These permissions are strictly functional.

Google API Services Disclosure

Sheetgo transfers data received from Google APIs to its internal systems solely to ensure product functionality and maintain user-requested workflows. Where users provide email addresses (including account identifiers and collaborator information), such email addresses may be transferred to Sheetgo’s CRM tools strictly for communication, account management, and support purposes. No other Google user data is shared with third-party applications except as necessary to provide the requested service or comply with legal obligations.

Sheetgo adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Microsoft account permissions

When connecting Microsoft accounts, Sheetgo may request permissions to:

  • read user profile information,
  • access and modify files the user selects,
  • maintain offline workflow synchronization,
  • update files within SharePoint or OneDrive as configured.

These permissions are used exclusively to perform configured workflows and are not used for unrelated data analysis or commercial profiling.

4. Dropbox account permissions

When Dropbox is connected, Sheetgo may request access to:

  • view and manage selected files,
  • create new files,
  • update existing files.

Sheetgo does not store full copies of file contents and does not access files outside user-authorized scopes.

5. Data Storage and Metadata

Sheetgo does not store full copies of customer file content unless explicitly required by a configured feature.

Sheetgo may store limited technical metadata necessary to operate workflows, including:

  • file identifiers,
  • structural headers,
  • workflow configuration settings,
  • usage diagnostics,
  • connection status data.

Such metadata is used exclusively to maintain service functionality and security.

6. Security Measures

All third-party API interactions occur over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Sheetgo implements appropriate technical and organisational measures, including:

  • access control,
  • role-based permissions,
  • logging and traceability,
  • segregation of environments,
  • incident response procedures.

7. Revocation of Access

Users may revoke third-party account access at any time via their Google, Microsoft, or Dropbox security settings.

Revocation may affect workflow functionality.

8. International Transfers

Where API-sourced data is processed outside the European Economic Area, such processing is subject to appropriate safeguards under applicable law, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

9. Updates

This Notice may be updated to reflect operational or regulatory changes.

The latest version will always be available on the Sheetgo website.
