Security Policy

Introduction

A spreadsheets is often used to store sensitive and confidential data. Some examples include business plans, financial results, client data, sales leads, strategies, indicators and any other highly confidential and important data. Therefore, spreadsheets security must be high priority.
As a spreadsheets expert and with several years experience working with spreadsheets, Sheetgo fully understands these concerns. In addition to developing new technologies to manage data using spreadsheets Sheetgo is also developing methods and technologies to guarantee security for its users and their documents.
Your data is 100% secure with Sheetgo because we operate in a secure environment and use a peer to peer connection method. More details can be found below.

Peer to peer connections

As a rule, Sheetgo, in its current version and planned future iterations, uses and will use peer to peer connections. This protocol ensures that every time Sheetgo is executed, it will transfer data directly from one spreadsheet to another. The content of a spreadsheet is never copied to another database.
The peer to peer connection ensures that your data is as safe as the environment that the data is hosted in (e.g., Google Drive).

Secure environment

Technically, Sheetgo currently consists of a Web Application and an Add-on for Google Sheets. Both the Web Application and the Add-on are executed in the Google Cloud Platform, inheriting its entire security structure to ensure that it operates in the safest possible environment.
Furthermore, all interactions between your Google account and our Sheetgo occur over a secure HTTPS connection.
Sheetgo’s developers and support personnel continuously monitor Sheetgo’s execution. They are notified as soon as problems are detected and the issues are immediately investigated.
