Unlike most of the other formulas, this doesn\u2019t even require an input parameter. However, it gets more interesting when we can use this formula in conjunction with the others. Let\u2019s just say we have a business procedure that has to happen only during the regular working\u00a0hours, i.e. from 9AM to 5PM. This means that we have to achieve this as a two-part objective:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Exclude the\u00a0non-business hours from 6PM to 8 AM<\/li>\n<li>And also exclude the non-business days \u2013 Saturday and Sunday.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span>By making use of both the IF and\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/docs\/answer\/3093045\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HOUR<\/a><span>\u00a0formulas in the second example, we successfully were able to accomplish the first part of our objective. At the time of writing this, the formula NOW() evaluated to \u201c6\/7\/2018 21:40:11\u201d. Since\u00a0the hour is beyond the work hours, the output is \u201cStop\u201d.
