Purpose of the Rulebook<\/h2>\n<p>This Rulebook establishes the participation rules for all organizations in the Sheetgo Data Space.<\/p>\n<p>Its purpose is to ensure an environment that is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>secure,<\/li>\n<li>trustworthy,<\/li>\n<li>transparent,<\/li>\n<li>and suitable for collaboration among participants from different sectors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>2. Scope of application<\/h2>\n<p>These rules govern:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>access to the Data Space,<\/li>\n<li>use of shared data,<\/li>\n<li>responsibilities of the participants,<\/li>\n<li>supervision mechanisms,<\/li>\n<li>and exit or suspension procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>3. Participant roles<\/h2>\n<p>A participant may act as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a data provider,<\/li>\n<li>a data consumer,<\/li>\n<li>or both provider and consumer simultaneously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The role or roles are defined during onboarding and may be updated as participation evolves.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>4. Sectoral domains and specific rules<\/h2>\n<p>The Data Space may enable sectoral domains or usage communities oriented to specific sectors or use cases.<\/p>\n<p>Such domains:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are governed by this Rulebook,<\/li>\n<li>may incorporate additional specific rules through sectoral annexes,<\/li>\n<li>and do not alter the condition of a single Data Space nor the application of general rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In case of conflict, the provisions of this Rulebook shall always prevail.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>5. Principles for data use<\/h2>\n<h3>5.1 Authorized use<\/h3>\n<p>Data may only be used for purposes expressly authorized by its owner.<\/p>\n<h3>5.2 Respect for conditions<\/h3>\n<p>Each dataset may be subject to specific access, use, or duration conditions that must be respected at all times.<\/p>\n<h3>5.3 Prohibition of misuse<\/h3>\n<p>It is prohibited to reuse data for unauthorized purposes or to share it with unauthorized third parties.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>6. Ownership and responsibility<\/h2>\n<p>Each participant:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>retains ownership of the data it contributes,<\/li>\n<li>is responsible for its legality and quality,<\/li>\n<li>and is responsible for the use it makes of the data it accesses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Operator does not acquire ownership rights over the data nor assume responsibility for its content.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>7. Access to the Data Space<\/h2>\n<p>Access to the Data Space requires:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>acceptance of this Rulebook,<\/li>\n<li>signature of the Adhesion Agreement,<\/li>\n<li>and completion of the onboarding process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Operator may establish reasonable controls to verify compliance with these conditions.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>8. Security and good practices<\/h2>\n<p>Participants shall:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>protect their access credentials,<\/li>\n<li>apply appropriate security measures,<\/li>\n<li>notify relevant incidents that may affect the Data Space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>9. Regulatory compliance<\/h2>\n<p>Each participant is responsible for complying with applicable regulations, including data protection regulations and corresponding sectoral obligations.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>10. Supervision and monitoring<\/h2>\n<p>The Operator, in accordance with the decisions of the Data Space Governance Body, may carry out reasonable checks and adopt proportionate measures to ensure compliance with this Rulebook.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>11. Breaches and measures<\/h2>\n<p>In case of non-compliance, the Operator may:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>require correction of the situation,<\/li>\n<li>temporarily limit access,<\/li>\n<li>or suspend participation in cases of serious or repeated breaches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>12. Exit from the Data Space<\/h2>\n<p>Participants may request their exit in accordance with established procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Exit implies termination of access to the Data Space, without prejudice to legal obligations that remain applicable.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>13. Updates to the Rulebook<\/h2>\n<p>This Rulebook may be updated to adapt to regulatory, technical, or operational changes.<\/p>\n<p>Relevant modifications will be communicated with reasonable prior notice.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>14.
