Although this ability to store huge amounts of data is its main strength, it also becomes its greatest weakness when it comes to wanting to share this data. Therefore, the best way to share your CSV data is to convert your CSV to PDF.

The PDF is arguably the most shareable format, due to the fact that it is universally compatible, and can be easily compressed. What’s more, by converting your files, you can alter the format to suit your objectives, such as an invoice, contract, or report.

The Sheetgo web app offers a solution where you can automatically transform your CSV into custom documents per row of data, generate these as a PDF, and send them directly to recipients in just a matter of minutes.

Let’s say I am part of the Sales department in my business, and I need to send out a subscription invoice to each customer for the month. I have a large database full of all the customer data, including their subscription plan, monthly bill amount, payment details, etc. I can’t share this CSV directly with these customers, as it contains extremely private information, and it wouldn’t be in the correct format. Using Sheetgo, I can transfer each row of customer data into a formatted invoice document, convert this to a PDF, and send it directly to the corresponding client–all automatically.

Let’s explore in more detail the benefits of using Sheetgo for CSV to PDF conversion, and go through a simple step-by-step on how to convert your files automatically using the Sheetgo web app.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”3_5,2_5″ make_equal=”on” _builder_version=”4.22.2″ _module_preset=”default” background_color=”#d3e3ff” custom_padding=”30px|30px|30px|30px|true|true” border_radii=”on|12px|12px|12px|12px” global_colors_info=”{}” global_module=”44972″ theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.22.2″ _module_preset=”default” custom_css_main_element=”margin:auto” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.22.2″ _module_preset=”default” header_font_size=”33px” header_4_font_size=”24px” background_color=”RGBA(255,255,255,0)” text_font_size_tablet=”17px” text_font_size_phone=”17px” text_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” header_4_font_tablet=”” header_4_font_phone=”” header_4_font_last_edited=”on|tablet” text_orientation_tablet=”center” text_orientation_phone=”center” text_orientation_last_edited=”on|phone” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”]

Ready to streamline your data?

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”2_5″ _builder_version=”4.22.2″ _module_preset=”default” custom_css_main_element=”margin:auto” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_button button_url=”https://app.sheetgo.com/” url_new_window=”on” button_text=”START NOW” button_alignment=”center” _builder_version=”4.22.2″ _module_preset=”default” custom_button=”on” button_text_size=”16px” button_text_color=”#ffffff” button_bg_color=”#2979ff” button_border_width=”0px” button_border_radius=”6px” button_font=”|700|||||||” button_use_icon=”off” custom_margin=”0px|0px|0px|0px|true|true” custom_margin_tablet=”10px||||false|false” custom_margin_phone=”10px||||false|false” custom_margin_last_edited=”on|phone” custom_padding=”15px|20px|15px|20px|true|true” global_colors_info=”{}” button_bg_color__hover_enabled=”on|hover” button_bg_color__hover=”rgba(41,121,255,0.7)” button_bg_enable_color__hover=”on” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][/et_pb_button][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]

CSV vs PDF

A CSV file is essentially plain text which stores tabular data separated by commas.
