Managing the inventory of multiple restaurants can be quite challenging and time-consuming. Purchasing inventory software would be too costly and are usually too complex for a simple inventory system. For that reason, GJ started using Google Sheets to register items.

However, as GJ can’t register items going in and out every day himself, he wanted to create an automated inventory system that is simple and easy to understand for all team members.

Solution

The inventory management process created with Sheetgo allows GJ’s team members to use Google Forms to register items going in and out using a tablet in the storage areas.

Sheetgo is used to connect, filter and automate the data between the check-in and check-out sheets to update their inventory spreadsheets, and ultimately to the inventory master sheet that also functions as a dashboard.
